1. Requests, not instant bookings

Every form on this website sends a request. A tour or stay is only confirmed once Nasua Tours replies by email or WhatsApp confirming date, time and price. No payment is taken on this website.

2. Booking, cancellation and weather

• Booking cutoff: 24 hours

  Requests close 24 hours before the tour starts, so admission and guiding can be arranged in time.

• Reserve admission is refundable up to 48 hours before the tour

  Cancel at least 48 hours before the tour starts and the reserve admission (entrance tickets) is refunded. With less than 48 hours' notice the entrance tickets are no longer refundable.

• Rain or shine — 50% of the guide service is non-refundable

  Monteverde weather is unpredictable, so tours run rain or shine. If the tour is cancelled, 50% of the guided-service charge is non-refundable, and entrance fees already purchased are non-refundable.

• Minimum booking: 2 people (solo guests welcome)

  Every tour is sold from a 2-person minimum, so a solo guest books the service for 2. If only one guest travels, Nasua Tours refunds 50% of the extra charge for the second person.

3. Prices, taxes and admission

Prices are quoted per person in US dollars and include 13% VAT. Each tour can be booked with reserve admission included or as guided service only, in which case you pay the reserve entrance directly. Infants 0–3 years do not pay; children 4–10 and guests 11+ are quoted as shown on each tour page. Reserve admission fees are set by the reserves, not by Nasua Tours, and may change.

4. Participant information

When your tour includes reserve admission, the reserves require the full name, passport number and date of birth of each participant to issue the tickets. This data is used only for that purpose, as described in our privacy policy.

5. On the tour

• Tours are led by certified bilingual naturalist guides and follow the rules of each reserve, including trail schedules and group limits.
• Please arrive at the agreed meeting point on time; late arrivals may shorten the tour without a refund.
• Wildlife sightings depend on nature and cannot be guaranteed for any species.
• Guests join at their own risk on natural trails and should bring suitable footwear, rain gear and any personal medication. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Nasua Tours may adjust the itinerary or the guide assigned when weather, reserve conditions or safety require it.

6. Pizote Apartment stays

Apartment rates, capacity and house rules are shown on the private lodging page and confirmed in writing before your stay. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before check-in are free of charge.

7. Reviews and content

Reviews you submit are moderated before publication and may be shown with the name you provide. Photos and text on this website belong to Nasua Tours and may not be reused without written permission.
